The rollator is heavier than I would like, because I have to lift it, since my husband can't. It would not fit into the trunk of our Honda civic. Today, I'll try again, to see if by shortening the handles all the way, it will fit. Otherwise, the rollator has to go in the back seat, which is an awkward place to fit it in. The handles are too thick to be comfortabe, since both the handle and the brakes are in one section. My husband is thinking about getting the ergonomic handles. He feels steadier when he walks, even down a fairly steep dirt path. He is working on standing erect when he walks. It is hard to push in thick grass, but the rollator goes places where lighter kinds with smaller wheels cant. We thought he might need longer handles, but there is plenty of space to adjust them. No problem there. I hope this will feel natural to my husband eventually, and that I will get used to lifting it into the car and carrying it up the steps to the house.
