Dolomite Slow Down Brake

Slow Down Brakes have a tension control to allow individual settings for each wheel. Unique design allows user to control speed for increased safety and gait training without wearing on the wheel. Ideal for Parkinson's or where cognition is an issue.
This accessory Installs behind the wheel brake on the Legacy, Maxi+, Futura, Symphony or Alpha walker. Does NOT fit the Jazz. Use a slow down brake if your walker is moving too fast for your gait. Adjust it to make your walker move slower. An inner wheel applies tension to the wheel to slow rotation. The tension is adjusted with a thumb screw on top. A locking nut hold the desired position. Works independently from brakes and brake handles.
